Prices in Spain
 Salamanca is one of the cheapest towns in Spain when speaking of cost of living.
For example, the urban transport in Salamanca, which is hardly necessary as you can get almost everywhere by foot, costs 0,80€.
 There are many supermarkets and big commercial centres in the town, and if you're doing your own cooking the costs per day for one person lies around 5 €. Some other examples are: Bread: 0,60 €; a cup of coffee on a cafeteria: approx. 1,50 €; a newspaper: 1,20 €.
Going to the cinema on the "spectator's day" costs 6 €. The town also offers many cultural activities , theatre and exhibitions. Many of these a free and others cost between 6 and 9 €.
